It is unfortunate that Judge Shelton removed the DEQ's request for a public comment period, thus making the schedule very tight when the DEQ rightfully went ahead and established a public comment period and public meeting anyway.

Now the public only has a few weeks to review and respond to a proposal that Pall/Gelman (PLS) and the DEQ had been negotiating in private for almost a year... a proposal that if accepted by the court might put the source of 80% of Ann Arbor's water at risk. Do you find this valuable?
